The successful candidate will ensure that all logistics activitiesincluding traffic management, delivery coordination, crane operations, access control, waste handling, and material movementsare conducted safely, legally, and efficiently in line with Finnish regulations and international best practices.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities:<br \/>\nLogistics Safety Planning &#038; Implementation:<br \/>\nLead HSE planning for all logistics and site support activities including:<br \/>\nSite access\/egress and security zones<br \/>\nVehicle and pedestrian segregation<br \/>\nWaste and material handling<br \/>\nHoisting and lifting operations<br \/>\nWelfare and laydown areas<br \/>\nCoordinate with the logistics team to develop and enforce safety procedures and protocols aligned with the Finnish Occupational Safety and Health Act (738\/2002).<\/p>\n<p>Team Coordination &#038; Oversight:<br \/>\nManage HSE performance of all logistics personnel and subcontractors, including traffic marshals, security, crane crews, and delivery gate staff.<br \/>\nEnsure team members are trained and hold valid certifications (e.g., Ty\u00f6turvallisuuskortti, Tulity\u00f6kortti, First Aid).<br \/>\nDeliver logistics-focused toolbox talks, safety briefings, and induction training.<\/p>\n<p>Site Safety Monitoring:<br \/>\nConduct daily site inspections of logistics operations to ensure safe systems of work.<br \/>\nEnforce vehicle movement plans, delivery schedules, and lifting plans with appropriate signage and controls.<br \/>\nInvestigate and report logistics-related incidents and near misses, implementing corrective and preventative actions.<br \/>\nCompliance, Permits &#038; Reporting:<br \/>\nEnsure proper permitting and compliance for temporary works, hot works, and lifting activities.<br \/>\nMaintain and produce documentation of inspections, RAMS, safety observations, and incident reports.<br \/>\nProduce regular reports for the HSE lead and project management team on logistics-related safety KPIs.<br \/>\nStakeholder Coordination:<br \/>\nLiaise closely with main contractor, logistics providers, subcontractors, and the clients safety representatives.<br \/>\nSupport and participate in safety audits, logistics planning meetings, and emergency preparedness drills.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications &#038; Experience:<br \/>\nNEBOSH Certificate, European\/Nordic safety qualification, or equivalent.<br \/>\nMinimum 5+ years experience in construction HSE roles, with at least 2+ years in logistics, cranes, or site services.<br \/>\nProven ability to manage HSE compliance on high-volume construction sites (data centres, infrastructure, or industrial).<br \/>\nKnowledge of Finnish construction laws and environmental health &#038; safety regulations.<\/p>\n<p>Desirable:<br \/>\nValid Ty\u00f6turvallisuuskortti (Occupational Safety Card) mandatory for site access.<br \/>\nValid Tulity\u00f6kortti (Hot Work Permit) and Emergency First Aid training preferred.<br \/>\nFamiliarity with logistics systems and tools.<br \/>\nPrevious experience working in Finland or Nordic countries.<br \/>\nFluency in English is required;
