You will closely collaborate across several university functions, including \u00a0administration, faculty, and students in an international environment.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you will do:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The work mainly includes a) coordinating Hanken\u2019s DEI work and operationalizing our DEI plan 2025\u20132027; b) developing teaching and support materials to strengthen the DEI competence of Hanken\u2019s faculty and staff.<\/p>\n<p>Specific tasks include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and support Hanken\u2019s DEI work and the operationalisation of our internal DEI plan, especially the goal of strengthening staff competencies to work in a diverse environment.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and act as secretary Hanken\u2019s DEI committee.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare Hanken\u2019s monthly internal sustainability newsletter\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and maintain contacts for Hanken\u2019s collaboration with other higher education institutions on DEI issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What we expect from you:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a strong commitment to DEI and are ready to take initiative.<\/li>\n<li>Have excellent communication skills and very good proficiency in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Swedish and\/or Finnish is considered an advantage.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Have a bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s degree, preferably with an educational background related to social sustainability issues, and 2\u20133 years of relevant work experience related to DEI topics. Experience from the higher education sector is considered a merit.<\/li>\n<li>Have strong organizational skills, work independently, and be detail-oriented.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams with administration, faculty, and students. Knowledge of dialogic methods in the context of mediation is considered a merit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What we offer:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The salary is based on the university salary system in Finland and placed on demand level 8 for expert and support staff, with an additional personal salary element. The total monthly salary for a 40% part-time position is between 1350-1460 \u20ac\/month \u00a0depending on merits and experience.
