Sales Associate \/ Shop Assistant in Charge, Boxilo, Lahti<\/p>\n

Would you like to be part of building a brand-new store from the ground up? We are looking for a reliable and self-driven **Sales Associate \/** Shop Assistant in Charge for Boxilo store in Lahti.<\/p>\n

Why is this job special?<\/p>\n

This is not your typical retail position.<\/p>\n

Boxilo is a new company currently under development. In the early stages, the founders manage operations remotely and are responsible for areas such as procurement and supplier relationships. You will play a key role in the stores daily operations ensuring everything runs smoothly on-site.<\/p>\n

We are looking for someone who wants to take responsibility, make independent decisions, and genuinely contribute to building a functional and welcoming store.<\/p>\n

Our goal is a long-term employment relationship, with opportunities to grow as the company expands.<\/p>\n

What will you be doing?<\/p>\n

You will be responsible for the daily operations of the store and the customer experience. The role is diverse and hands-on.<\/p>\n

Your tasks include:<\/p>\n

– Opening and closing the store<\/p>\n

– Customer service and sales<\/p>\n

– Ensuring smooth day-to-day store operations<\/p>\n

– Product display and maintaining the stores appearance<\/p>\n

– Inventory monitoring and stock control<\/p>\n

– Cash handling and sales reporting<\/p>\n

– Receiving deliveries and communicating with suppliers<\/p>\n

– Developing operational practices during the startup phase<\/p>\n

– Independently solving practical day-to-day issues<\/p>\n

What kind of person are we looking for?<\/p>\n

You may be the right fit if you:<\/p>\n

– Have experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, or a similar field<\/p>\n

– Are reliable, responsible, and self-initiated<\/p>\n

– Work efficiently on your own<\/p>\n

– Enjoy customer interaction and have a sales-oriented mindset<\/p>\n

– Are practical and organized<\/p>\n

– Have a solution-oriented attitude<\/p>\n

– Thrive in a flexible and evolving environment<\/p>\n

– Communicate fluently in Finnish and English (Swedish is a plus)<\/p>\n

Working hours<\/p>\n

Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week. The daily working hours below are indicative exact schedules will be agreed upon when operations begin.<\/p>\n

– Mon-Fri: shifts between 10:00-19:00 (primarily 11:00-18:00)<\/p>\n

– Sat: 11:00-18:00 (one of the most important sales days of the week)<\/p>\n

What we offer<\/p>\n

– Salary according to the Finnish retail sector collective agreement<\/p>\n

– Fixed monthly salary of \u20ac2600-2800 (gross)<\/p>\n

– Additional compensation depending on shifts<\/p>\n

– Work from Monday to Saturday<\/p>\n

– Opportunity to grow with the company and develop in the role<\/p>\n
