A role where you help guests make the most of their Lapland holiday while keeping the daily activity flow running smoothly.We are looking for **Activities Sales Agents**for the winter season 20262027. Internally, this role is often simply called _Front_.<\/p>\n

In this role, you will work at the center of the hotels daily activity operations. This is not a reception role your days revolve around activity sales, schedules, and guest questions. The Front acts as a kind of activity hub where things are kept organized and guests are guided to the right place at the right time.<\/p>\n

The pace changes quickly, and unexpected situations are part of everyday life. Youll need good situational awareness and the ability to react fast when needed. Front staff work closely together with guides, and a lot can happen during a single shift.<\/p>\n

**What would your workday look like?**<\/p>\n

**Morning the activity day begins**<\/p>\n

Mornings are often the busiest part of the day as guests prepare to leave for activities. At the activities desk, there are plenty of questions and situations to solve: where is the meeting point, where can missing gloves be found, or where is their guide waiting?<\/p>\n

Before husky and reindeer excursions depart, guests are checked in for the tours: guest lists are confirmed, winter clothing is checked, and sometimes late guests need to be tracked down at the last minute. At the same time, youll monitor airport transfers, arrange snowmobile trail permits for the days excursions, and stay in contact with guides.<\/p>\n

Once the biggest morning rush settles down, there is time to answer emails, collect flight details from upcoming guests, and sell activities.<\/p>\n

**Daytime coordination and guest interaction**<\/p>\n

During the day, guests return from excursions and often stop by to talk about their experiences and check plans for the rest of their stay. Typical questions include: Will we be able to see northern lights tonight? What time was dinner again? Is the meeting point for tonights activity the same as this mornings?<\/p>\n

At the same time, you will make sure upcoming activities have the correct guides and transfers assigned and that schedules are up to date. A big part of the day also involves helping guests find experiences that suit them best.<\/p>\n

**Evening new guests arrive**<\/p>\n

In the evening, new guests arrive at the hotel with plenty of questions about their upcoming holiday. Many want to know things like whether they can drive a snowmobile without previous experience, whether skiing is safe, or how warmly they should dress.<\/p>\n

For many guests, the activities sales coordinator is the first person they speak with about what they should do and experience during their stay in Lapland.<\/p>\n

**What the job includes**<\/p>\n

– Selling activities and excursions<\/p>\n

– Customer service in person, by phone, and online<\/p>\n

– Close cooperation with guides<\/p>\n

– Monitoring transfers and schedules<\/p>\n

– Handling situations that require quick decisions and problem-solving<\/p>\n

**What we expect from you**<\/p>\n

– Fluent English skills (additional languages are a major advantage)<\/p>\n

– Ability to manage several things at once<\/p>\n

– Proactive and energetic approach to work<\/p>\n

– Strong communication skills<\/p>\n

– Ability to react quickly to changing situations<\/p>\n

Previous experience in tourism, customer service, or guiding is considered an advantage.<\/p>\n

**What you get from this experience**<\/p>\n

Working in Lapland is more than just a job.<\/p>\n

Our destinations are located in the municipality of Inari, far above the Arctic Circle. Winter here is long, snowy, and peaceful, with space to breathe outside of work. You will experience the deepest part of the polar night and celebrate the first returning sunlight with us in late January.<\/p>\n

**Staff accommodation is available if needed.** The apartments are clean and fully equipped in practice, you only need to bring your toothbrush and warm clothes. During the winter season, accommodation is shared (two people per room), so its good to be prepared for shared living.<\/p>\n

**Salary and terms**<\/p>\n

– Starting salary: **2260 \u20ac\/month (\u20ac14.21\/hour)** + supplements<\/p>\n

– Final salary depends on experience and education<\/p>\n

**Working hours bank:** All employees have access to a working hours bank. Working hours vary during the season, and extra hours worked during busier periods can later be taken as time off. Any unused hours will be paid out at the end of employment.<\/p>\n
