Your primary focus will be evaluating the compliance of advanced FACTS STATCOM systemsincluding hardware, software, and control functionsagainst international IEEE and IEC standards.<\/p>\n<p>You are offered A high-impact role in a critical New Product Introduction program. A clear project-based engagement with a defined scope and deliverables.<\/p>\n<p>Work tasks<\/p>\n<p>Lead a comprehensive pre-study for a New Product Introduction (NPI) program, evaluating compliance of advanced FACTS STATCOM systems against international IEEE and IEC standards.<br \/>\n&#8211; Identify and assess compliance against applicable IEEE standards, focusing on dynamic performance, grid interconnection, and power quality.<br \/>\n&#8211; Compare IEEE and IEC requirements to highlight differences, overlaps, and potential conflicts.<br \/>\n&#8211; Validate and adapt existing IEC type test plans and prepare a comprehensive IEEE type test plan.<br \/>\n&#8211; Identify and assess accredited test laboratories capable of performing demanding high-current type tests.<br \/>\n&#8211; Establish a clear basis for IEC 61850 compliance claims by mapping requirements to specific type tests.<br \/>\n&#8211; Identify technical and schedule risks, recommending specific actions to ensure successful NPI execution.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Advanced knowledge in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related fields.<br \/>\n&#8211; Knowledge of FACTS STATCOM systems, including VSC topology and control algorithms.<br \/>\n&#8211; Knowledge of IEEE and IEC standards for grid interconnection and power electronics.<br \/>\n&#8211; Ability to perform detailed gap analyses between complex technical requirements.<br \/>\n&#8211; Excellent professional English skills (written and spoken).<\/p>\n<p>Our recruitment process<br \/>\nThis recruitment process is handled by Academic Work and it is our clients wish that all questions regarding the position is directed to Academic Work.<\/p>\n<p>Our selection process is continuous and the advert may close before the recruitment process is completed if we have moved forward to the next phase.
