Dynamik is a Finnish technology company that builds intelligent tools that help teams allocate resources smarter. Our headquarters are in Espoo. Now we are looking for a Lead AI & ML Engineer to join our team.<\/p>\n

Allocator helps organizations intelligently assign mobile resources – the right people, to the right work, at the right time. It’s a problem every team with mobile operations faces, and we’ve built a product that solves it uniquely through proprietary algorithms and data integrations.<\/p>\n

This isn’t a greenfield build-from-scratch role – it’s better. You’re joining a stable, production-grade system with a mandate to make it significantly smarter. That means designing ML systems that make Allocator smarter, integrating LLM-driven features, and ensuring the architecture can scale globally. We’re a startup with a product-market fit and serious ambition. If you want to make a meaningful impact at exactly the right moment, this is it.<\/p>\n

What You’ll Do<\/p>\n

– Own the AI and ML roadmap for Allocator – defining the architecture, tooling, and practices that take the product from good to exceptional.
\n– Design and build ML systems that continuously improve allocation quality and decision-making.
\n– Architect scalable data pipelines capable of ingesting, processing, and learning from high-volume data across a growing global customer base
\n– Lead the integration of LLMs into Allocator workflows: prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, tool use, and agentic patterns
\n– Work closely with product, engineering and research to translate business requirements into intelligent solutions
\n– Establish standards for model evaluation, experimentation, and performance monitoring in production
\n– Stay current on state-of-the-art methods and advocate for the right approaches at the right time<\/p>\n

Requirements<\/p>\n

– 5+ years building and operating ML systems in production at scale
\n– Hands-on background in scalable data pipeline design and data infrastructure
\n– Solid grounding in optimization and algorithm design; familiarity with local search techniques is a plus
\n– Experience with RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector databases, or agentic frameworks
\n– Comfort working across the full stack from model to API to production
\n– Strong communicator – can translate complex ML tradeoffs clearly for non-technical stakeholders<\/p>\n

Bonus Points<\/p>\n

– Proven ability to lead a technical team
\n– Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production systems
\n– Experience with real-time data and streaming architectures
\n– Background in workforce management, resource allocation, or scheduling domains
\n– Experience fine-tuning or training domain-specific models
\n– Ability to visit the office on a weekly basis. Some of us work fully remotely, so thats not a requirement!
\n– Prior work at a product-led startup where you balanced speed with rigor<\/p>\n
