Arctial is a joint venture backed by leading industrial partners, including Rio Tinto, Mitsubishi Corporation, Fortum, ABB, Siemens Financial Services, Tesi and Vargas.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>After more than three decades without new primary aluminium production in continental Europe, Project Arctial represents a major industrial breakthrough. Powered by low-carbon\u00a0electricity and proven technology, the facility will produce aluminium with a carbon footprint far below today<\/em><em>\u2019<\/em><em>s standards. If realized, the project is expected to create around 1,200 direct jobs and several thousand indirect jobs in the region.<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Arctial is strengthening its financial management &#8211; and we\u2019re now looking for an energetic and forward-looking<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h2><strong>Project Controller<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Arctial\u2019s CFO Office<\/strong> plays a pivotal role in securing funding, managing financing, and overseeing investment control across the development of a world-class low-carbon smelter. We are building a finance function that will serve as a strong and reliable partner to the business.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>In this role<\/strong>, you will report to the Group Finance Director with a dotted line to the Site Manager. Your daily responsibilities include controlling accounts payable and verifying contract compliance. You will support a variety of reporting needs such as monthly reporting, budgeting, and lender reporting.<\/p>\n<p>You will also play a key role in developing processes, implementing new technologies and training users, while serving as a trusted partner to the Owners Engineering team by supporting their diverse data and analysis needs.<\/p>\n<p>The team we bring together now will define how the facility is designed, how quality standards are set, and how operational excellence is delivered for decades to come.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We expect you<\/strong> to have a few years of relevant experience, for example in Assisting Controlling in industrial or construction projects and a suitable education in finance or industrial engineering. You enjoy working in a global team and are flexible across time zones.\u00a0You are deeply engaged and precise, while still clearly seeing and understanding the bigger picture &#8211; enabling you to drive meaningful impact with confidence and clarity. As an analytical thinker, you bring together humility, natural talent, and long\u2011term determination in everything you do.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Your Finnish and English languages are fluent and Swedish is an asset. We support remote work, but\u00a0at a later stage,\u00a0regular on-site presence will be important.
