Restaurant Akseli is now looking for a Kitchen Manager who wants to develop the restaurant&#8217;s operations and inspire the team to produce the best possible food experiences for our customers.<\/p>\n<p>About us<br \/>\n&#8211; Restaurant Akseli is a cozy headquarters-level restaurant in Ilmala, located in the Aura office building. We offer high-quality and delicious lunches, diverse caf\u00e9 products, and meeting and catering services daily.<\/p>\n<p>There is also a caf\u00e9 connected to the restaurant, serving handcrafted espresso-based coffees and savory and sweet delicacies.<\/p>\n<p>Your duties as Kitchen Manager<\/p>\n<p>As a Kitchen Manager, you are responsible for the overall operation and development of the kitchen together with the restaurant manager and the team.<\/p>\n<p>Your tasks include:<br \/>\n-planning, organizing and developing kitchen operations<br \/>\n-managing cost efficiency (waste, sales margin, inventory turnover and purchases)<br \/>\n-planning customer-oriented menus and meeting and representation catering<br \/>\n-leading and motivating the kitchen team by example<br \/>\n-preparing and presenting high-quality and attractive dishes<\/p>\n<p>We expect from you<br \/>\n-experience in kitchen management or responsible chef duties<br \/>\n-strong knowledge of preparing lunch food for a large number of customers<br \/>\n-ability to manage kitchen finances and processes<br \/>\n-an eye and passion for food presentation and visuals<br \/>\n-fluent Finnish and English language skills<br \/>\n-flexibility, efficiency and good ability to work under pressure<\/p>\n<p>What we offer<br \/>\n-the opportunity to work on high-quality taste experiences<br \/>\n-the opportunity to develop the restaurant and the group&#8217;s food products together with our other restaurants with<br \/>\n-an encouraging and professional work community where everyone&#8217;s contribution is valued<br \/>\n-mainly day work on weekdays between 6:00 and 17:00<\/p>\n<p>Are you interested?<br \/>\nWe are looking for a committed and motivated head chef who wants to be part of our team developing our operations and creating the best possible restaurant experience for our customers.<\/p>\n<p>For us, every customer encounter is an opportunity to exceed expectations.<\/p>\n<p>Send your application as soon as possible.
