Jobs on the Horizon- Welcome to Ecker\u00f6 Link!<\/p>\n

Are you a technically skilled professional who thrives in a dynamic work environment? We are looking for a Second Engineer to join our vessel M\/S Fj\u00e4rdv\u00e4gen (formerly Sailor). We are offering one permanent contract with immediate access or as agreed.<\/p>\n

Who are you?<\/p>\n

Were seeking an engineer with:<\/p>\n

-Relevant professional experience and qualifications<\/p>\n

-Strong leadership qualities<\/p>\n

-A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high safety and environmental standards onboard<\/p>\n

As a Second Engineer, youll be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the ships machinery and auxiliary systems, ensuring they meet all current safety and environmental requirements. A solid overall knowledge of the vessels technical systems is essential.<\/p>\n

Minimum requirement for the position is a valid a Watchkeeping Engineer certificate (STCW III\/1). Higher-level certificates of competence are considered an advantage.<\/p>\n

Additional information<\/p>\n

Fj\u00e4rdv\u00e4gen sails under the Finnish flag and operates daily between L\u00e5ngn\u00e4s (\u00c5land) and Naantali (Finland). The work rotation follows a 1:1 schedule, with two weeks onboard followed by two weeks off.<\/p>\n

The official working and safety language onboard is English, while skills in Finnish and Swedish are considered an advantage.<\/p>\n

Please note that we apply a drug testing practice for new employees.<\/p>\n
