Notifications can be used on a per-case basis. You can choose to get notifications about new applications in recruitment cases where finding a suitable candidate is difficult, and opt not to get notifications for mass recruitments (e.g. with summer jobs).
Notifications about end of application period
You can set the system to notify you of the end of the application period – several times, if needed. If the system is not under heavy use daily, email reminders help hiring managers plan for the next stages in the recruitment process.

Alerts can help activate various workflows in other situations, too. For example, a director can get an alert when a recruiting permit is waiting for approval, and the IT department can get a request to prepare workstations and credentials when an applicant is marked as selected for a position.
